Cette année, ils étaient six professionnels à juger les candidatures envoyées du monde entier pour sélectionner les photographies lauréates de cette 9ème édition des All About Photo Awards – The Mind’s Eye. Parmi les gagnants, beaucoup de français, et notamment Véronique de Viguerie et le photographe americo-français Joseph-Philippe Bevillard qui remportent respectivement le deuxième et quatrième prix. Le concours All About Photo Awards récompense les meilleures images individuelles de photographes du monde entier. Qu’ils soient amateurs ou professionnels, tous ces photographes ont partagé leurs points de vue uniques dans le but d’être élu le ou la « Photographe de l’année » et de bénéficier des 5 prix dotés d’un montant global de 10 000 $.

MOSUL, IRAQ- JULY, 2017: Thoraya (16) is getting married with her cousin Fahed (23). Their street was trageted by an airstrike 6 months ago. Their neighbourg were all killed.
Fahed and Thoraya met at their grand parents house in Mosul. Fahed was living in East Mosul and Thoraya in the West part. So for more than 2 years under ISIS occupation they were not able to see each other and not even to communicate in the last months. Fahed didn’t even knew if Thoraya was alive or dead as they hd their phone confiscated by ISIS. In may the neighborhood of Thoraya was liberated by the Iraqi Army. They escaped ISIS and fled to an IDP camp near Mosul. When Fahed heard that Thoraya and her family managed to escape and were safe. He was so relived and happy that they planned the wedding straight away.

Ils ont sélectionné 48 gagnants qui viennent de 22 pays différents et de 3 continents parmi des milliers de candidatures provenant du monde entier.

La gagnante et Photographe de l’année 2024 est Roberta Vagliani (Italie) avec son image « Le droit de savoir ». Elle perçoit 5000$. Le deuxième prix (2000$) est remporté par Véronique de Viguerie (France), le troisième prix (1500$) est remporté par Lieven Neirinck (Belgique), le quatrième prix (1000$) est remporté par Joseph-Philippe Bevillard (États-Unis/France) et le cinquième prix (500$) est remporté par Victor Wong (Hong Kong SAR China).
